Germany (Saxony) - Schkeuditz
There has been a partnership with the city of Schkeuditz since 1991. To begin with, this link was seen as one of providing development aid. However, after the reunification of Germany, the town, which lies at the centre of the Leipzig-Halle economic region, has developed tremendously. Schkeuditz has developed into a leading economic location. Our twin city now has about 18,500 inhabitants and extends over 80 square kilometres. The original goal of providing aid for reconstruction has developed into a strong friendship over the last few years, maintained by frequent visits to both towns, joint ventures and contacts between local clubs that are always lively.
